23. How the new ticket is always assigned to specific group by default

In vtiger is it possible to set that new tickets are always assigned to a specific group by default?

Answer

1. Open the group and note down the groupid (3)

2. Run a query:

UPDATE vtiger_field 
SET defaultvalue='3' /* 3 should be your groupid */
WHERE tabid='13' 
AND columnname='smownerid';

1. Now if you go to Layout Editor, you will see the Assigned to with a default value
