Cannot Hide/Remove Crew field in the VTEperts Timesheets
Want to remove or hide the crew field in the Time sheets layout
Even tried to hide the field from Module Layout & fields as well, but still the field is appearing in the timesheets
User cannot remove or hide it, because it is hardcoded field
User can remove the field from the code of the CRM. It is not encouraged because it can cause adverse effects on the CRM, ranging from Timesheets not working to the CRM stops responding properly
VTExperts can customize and hide the field. But, it will be a billable support
Timesheets is showing time logs for just own user profile
User tried to access the time logs of all the other employees, but can only see his/her own time logs only
The reason a user cannot see the time logs of other users is that, they do not have admin privileges
A non admin user can only see his own time logs in VTExperts Timesheets
An Admin user can access the time logs of all the users of the CRM
Change the role of the user to admin, to whom you want to provide access to the time logs of all the users. Note: Admin user can access every record in the CRM
What if you want to give a user full access to time logs and limited access to some other record? Then, We can customize a semi-admin role, who have all the admin privileges but can be modified as per your requirement
You want to extract data from the timesheets as per you need. For example the total number of hours worked by all the users or hours worked on billable projects
This can be done using reports module. Configure a report on timesheets and extract the information that you desire
Here is an example of calculating the total hours logged by all the user Go to reports, configure a detailed report
Make sure to select the Timesheets in the primary module
Specify the fields that you want to show on the report. Make sure to select the total hours field
Specify any condition if applicable
Finally, Save and generate the report
