4. Report on dashboard only shows records assigned to the current user

Issue

How to create a report that can be used on the VReports dashboard that shows all records assigned to the current user. i.e. each salesperson will see their own opportunities on the dashboard

Solution

This can be achieved using a mini-list feature of the Vreports and Dashboard

Go to the dashboard and add a mini-list using "Add widget" button

Once the mini-list is added, go to the settings of the mini-list

Once the mini-list configurations are opened, select the "Logged in user" in "Assigned to" filter

Once selected, the mini-list will only shows the records that are assigned to the current logged in user. In this manner, you can make sure that all the sales reps can only see the opportunities assigned to them on the dashboard
